How It Works

On-site measure and slab inspection — we check for cracks, spalling and previous coatings.

Moisture test the concrete. Florida slabs without a vapor barrier can push moisture up and delaminate a coating, so we test before we quote and use a mitigation primer when needed.

Written quote by square foot, then diamond grind the surface and repair cracks and control joints.

Apply base coat, broadcast flake to refusal, scrape and vacuum flat, roll the clear topcoat and hand back the space with a cure schedule.

Do you do the work yourselves?
D&N manages the job end to end — measuring, moisture testing, scheduling, quality check and warranty are ours. Coating installs are performed by our vetted epoxy specialists, and your point of contact is always us.
Why do you moisture test first?
Older Florida slabs are often poured without a vapor barrier. Moisture rising through the concrete is the number one cause of epoxy peeling. We tape-test the slab before quoting and prime for moisture mitigation if the reading calls for it.
How long does it take?
Most two-car garages are a one to two day install. Plan on 24 hours before walking on it and about 72 hours before parking vehicles.
Do I have to empty the garage?
Yes — the floor needs to be completely clear before we grind. We can help move heavy items if you let us know ahead.
Will it peel or yellow?
Not when it's prepped right. We diamond grind instead of acid etching, and the UV-stable topcoat resists yellowing in Florida sun.
Can you coat an old stained or painted floor?
Usually yes. Existing coatings get ground off and oil-stained areas are degreased and treated before we start.
How do I clean it?
Sweep or blow it out and mop with a mild cleaner. No harsh acids, and pick up battery or brake fluid spills promptly.
